The words on this shirt are inspired by Colonel Joshua L. Chamberlain's famous quote during the epic battle for Little Round Top: "Stand firm, ye boys from Maine." JLC said these words when facing impossible odds to give strength to his fellow Mainers. During a time when so many issues feel beyond our control, we choose to take comfort and inspiration from the words of one of Maine's native sons.
