Maine Coast Community Sector

The sector system was established in 2010 by the New England Fishery Management Council. A form of "catch sharing" management, sectors allow fishermen to access the groundfish fishery though limited access permits and quota-based fisheries management.  If you are interested in joining the Maine Coast Community Sector, please reach out to our sector manager, Mary Hudson, for more information. 

 

Participation in a sector is completely voluntary. The Maine Coast Community Sector (MCCS) works with fishermen throughout New England.

Quota Market Place

The form updates every five minutes, so if you submit quota for lease it will take five minutes to show up.
